I've sometimes wondered what this country would be like if there were a "Johnny Appleseed" who went planting cannabis sativa on his peripatetic journeys.

Also - does that plant flower? I would imagine that it does.Do you think that honeybees like the flowers? What do you suppose that cannabis honey would taste like? Would it have psychoactive properties,I wonder?

I am for making an argument to NOT attempt to eradicate Japanese Knotweed based on the fact that it appears that honeybees like the flowers, and honeybees seem to be disappearing.

The year we had drought conditions, little sweat bees got really mad and stung me on three occasions. Whooboy! Did that ever light me up. Tiny little hornets that usually mind their own business were very aggressive. I quit weeding for a while.

There is a common weed that comes up in my yard and looks very much like hemp. Always do a double-take and count the leaves. Always two short.

Say, have you ever seen Saving Grace? Great fun movie with Brenda Blethyn and Craig Ferguson. Lots of wonderful character actors. The corn flakes scene lays me out.

Don't see how a movie featuring that cast could be anything but great. Thanks for the heads-up.
