THE TRUTH

The Pens performance against the Flyers is worst I have ever seen considering the Stanley Cup expectations. No one player can be blamed for this total breakdown, the head coach is totally responsible. Considering the organization will lose millions of dollars with an early playoff exit,  player changes will not do the trick.

The Flyers were the one team the Pens did not want to play in round one, sort of like the Steelers not wanting to play the Patriots. A win at home against the Islanders and the Pens would have avoided this nightmare, but I don't believe that Bylsma ever understood the match up was not good.

The season is lost. Sure, anything can happen in sports, but it would take a major event to even begin to repair the damage.

My solution, fire Bylsma tonight, don't wait another day. Six straight playoff losses is enough.
