This past week the Steelers quickly ended the speculation about their offensive line that began during the NFL draft.  Willie Colon will move to guard and Marcus Gilbert will stay at right tackle.

The moves offers both promise and peril for the Steelers offensive line

On the one hand, it gives the Steelers a chance to get their best 5 lineman on the field from the get go. On the flip side, it involves taking a significant risk with Ben Roethlisberger's blind side.

Max Starks entered the 2008 season as an overpaid after thought. When Marvel Smith went down to injury the coaches sent Trai Essex in instead of Starks.
